Studying the bible is important. It's the second half a conversation with God. He tells us to "Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2 Tim 2 :15). So, not studying your bible would be disobediant and disobediance is sin. Am I stretching things? I'd say not. I praise God for his forgiveness when I fail. I've found some tips to studying for those who are eager to start. Each lesson has a question/answer section that has a list of the requestions asked in each lesson. It is a place where people who want to can go and answer the questions and share those answers sort of like one would in a bible study group. There are seperate secions for Ruth and for John. Well, for those of you who visit my site regularly, you'll have noticed that it wasn't working for a bit and now some of the studies are missing. That happened when I moved my website to a new server. The hosting company corrupted my database and I lost everything, including the "responses". I will be adding the studies back as fast as I can but you all will have to re-respond to the questions. I am truley sorry about that. |
